Tough Mudder Northstar 2012

Well James can now say he is a Tough Mudder. He and his two good friends Casey and EZ (team name "Sons of Troy")completed the event at Northstar, Tahoe yesterday. They were able to finish the 11 mile obstacle course with 20 events in under 4 hours. We think there were at least 15,000 people up on the mountain. The hard core obstacles included jumping into ice cold water, crawling through blacked-out tunnels, traversing steep walls, hanging from timbers, climbing through and over mud hills, and getting shocked while running through live wires. It is for a great organization "the wounded warrior project"." We spent a fun couple of days at the village and celebrated last night with a big steak dinner. I am proud of the boys and happy they are only just really sore with lifetime memories.
