So they lost. The trophy is back on the East Side. What a hard fought game. It was supposed to be a blowout by Casa but we held them to 15-7 until almost the end of the game. The final score of 22-7 doesn't even explain how well our boys played. James had so many tackles and once again sacked the quarterback. It was awesome. He tried his best to carry the ball down the field even right up to the goal line but way too many defenders and no where to run. Our coach called the same play 3 times in a row and obviously they figured it out. How I wish he could have had a touchdown in the Eggbowl. He would remember that for the rest of his life. Our sportmanship was outstanding and nothing but good words down on the field at the end. I wish I could say the same for the other side. A few of their players made it look bad for the rest of them. I am proud to be a Trojan and for what we stand for. I am so proud of our team. James spent the weekend recouperating. There isn't a game this weekend so he can practice lightly and his knee, ribs, and hand can rest a bit. Tom and Dave came and we had such a good visit. Means alot that Tom traveled so far to see James play. And play he did!
