Now we are 0-5. I am hoping the ad for Chinet plates that has appeared in a few of the latest People magazines featuring some of our Trojan players won't come true. It is saying the team is 0-9 and to get ready for their first win! Wouldn't that be wierd and awful if it came true?
James has reinjured a couple of ribs so he is back in a rib brace. He has a broken bone on the top of his left hand that he has to tape, and his knee is still messed up. I leave the games with a huge stomachache hoping nothing else will happen. He played almost the whole game in Healdsburg only to lose 33-0. He keeps changing positions as other players get injured, and when he finally does get to play his favorite which is fullback, there is no coverage so he gets piled on. He continues to make great tackles and protect our quarterback. He struggles to keep his spirits up while he recovers each weekend. I want him to remember this season with fondness not regret. Please think about us every friday night. This week is homecoming. His new friend that wears his jersey will be in L.A. so he can't take her to the dance. Another disappointment. But here's to a great game!!!
