Football Season 2010

Josie came to her first football game and is James' biggest fan. James (#30)is a captain this year and was voted in by his teammates.
Had the first preseason game last night against Santa Rosa High. Huge disappointment. Everything that could have gone wrong did. We had no points by the half and no points by the end. So many opportunities down on the line and we would lose possession. Can't even count how many times we lost possession, dropped passes, or received penalties for holding, illegal possession, delay of game you name it. I think we saw it all. Even a blocked punt. It was 7-0 up until the last couple of minutes and they ended up scoring one more time for a total loss of 13-0. Wow didn't see that coming. As a parent I was extremely disappointed. James was able to get in a few plays in the first half as full back, had a good run, caught a great pass which almost ended in a touchdown and made some key tackles on defense. He never went back in for offense in the second half. Very confused as to why since he was due to be starter. We all sat confused and frustrated. I hope this is not the beginning of what is to come. He is one of their best players. Here's to hoping the next game is better!! Let's go Trojans!!
